In the art@cedarfarm building there are nine studio spaces, all occupied by talented crafts people who make and sell their products on site.
You can often see our makers in action and lots of the businesses host regular workshops, giving you the opportunity to learn a new craft or skill.
Regular exhibitions are hosted in the communal space in the centre of the studios. Here visitors have the opportunity to view and purchase work made by local artists.
Apothecary Oils is a luxury organic and natural skincare and homeware company based at Cedar Farm. Apothecary Oils was founded by clinical aromatherapist, Naomi Dickinson. The product range combines the integrity of therapeutic aromatherapy principles with the purity of organic and natural plant extracts. Each delicate blend is developed and formulated in-house, in the studio shop at Cedar Farm. All products are free from harsh chemicals, parabens, synthetic fragrances and petrochemical derivatives.

Cheryl Tully is an American ceramicist who grew up in a thriving artists’ community with her dad’s pottery studio in the basement. She makes sculptural, functional and sculpturally functional ceramics in Studio 2 of the art@cedarfarm building. In addition to selling direct and taking commissions at Cedar Farm, she also supplies and exhibits at galleries.

Choc Amor is a world award-winning manufacturer, retailer & wholesaler of ‘fiendishly good’ chocolate. Established in 2012 by husband and wife team Paul & Jacqui Williams, the chocolate is made onsite in small batches using single origin Cocoa ‘Fino de Aroma’ from Colombia.
With over 50 product awards, including Great Taste, Academy of Chocolate & International Chocolate Awards in both the British & World finals, Choc Amor’s vision is “to change people’s perception of chocolate one mouthful at a time”.

Heather Scott is a jewellery designer and maker based at Studio 1, art@cedarfarm. Here you can see Heather sat at her jeweller’s bench lovingly creating unique, dainty and beautiful jewellery pieces crafted in silver, gold & platinum. Heather makes engagement and wedding rings, as well as offering services such as pearl stringing, ring resizing and alterations. She also showcases impressive leather work hand stitched by her Father.

Studio 3 has been home to Joanne’s hand painted silks since the day that art@cedarfarm opened in 1999. Joanne continues to produce her famous scarves, but now also showcases a host of other creative textiles.
Pop into this Aladdin’s Cave of a studio, stocked from floor to ceiling with vibrant lamps and lampshades, available to order bespoke choosing from a huge selection of different fabrics including Libery, Kaffe Fassett, William Morris etc.
Joanne also imports vintage silk kimonos. Traveling from Japan to Lancashire, the most special of these garments are sold just as they are, whilst some are re-used and re-purposed to create original framed pieces and one of a kind, very special covered sketchbooks.

The Roberts and Co. family have been in the business of roasting coffee since 1891 and continue to do so to this day in a cosy espresso bar at the end of the atrium in art@cedarfarm. The family’s vintage coffee roasting plant is still in everyday use, and as well as serving coffee to devoted regulars they also send out orders to bars and restaurants across the UK. Roberts and Co. source and roast only the finest single origin and estate beans and mix different types together to produce outstanding coffee blends.

Stephen and Léona Lindars work in partnership as Slyglass, designing and producing a unique style of modern studio glass. Each piece is conceived, made and finished entirely by hand ensuring exceptional high quality and a desirable exclusivity. Central to the artwork of the couple is a collection of blown and hand formed glass bottles, bowls and vases. They also produce etched screens, wall panels, windows, mirrors, doorknobs and pendant light fittings.
