Cedar Farm and the Covid-19 Outbreak
Read the latest updates and changes to our business in relation to the Covid-19 outbreak:
Monday 23rd March 2020
All the businesses at Cedar Farm temporarily closed their doors to the public over the weekend.
💙 Esther and The Food Shop team have been working extra hard for the past few weeks, supplying lots of members of our community with lovingly-made, home cooked meals. In light of the government annoucement on Monday evening, Esther has made the difficult decision to temporarily close The Food Shop from 3pm on Tuesday 24th March.
💛 Rufford Print will remain open, albeit behind locked doors, and are working really hard to support local community groups, churches, medical centres, agricultural businesses and distribution organisations with their print requirements. You can place an order over the phone or via their website www.ruffordprinting.co.uk.
Its been a sad and worrying time for everyone at Cedar Farm in the last couple of weeks, but the needs and the safety of our loved ones, customers and community always come first. We hope you all stay safe and really look forward to seeing you all again in the near future.

While Cedar Farm remains open at the moment, there are a few changes that you need to be aware of.
💙 Our Cafe and Roastery are now closed the the public. However, the Roastery will be operating a take-away service over the weekend if you need a coffee fix.
💛 A number of our businesses have taken the sensible decision to temporarily close their shops. A few have online shops and will be posting items out while Royal Mail and courier companies continue to operate. I know they would really appreciate your orders if there is anything you need.
💚 The Food Shop are working their socks off, making lots of home-cooked food which can be delivered locally or collected from Cedar Farm. The team are happy to bring your orders to your car outside the shop if you would prefer. To place an order call the shop on 01704 821627. You could also give their Facebook page a visit so you can view their menu and price list.
💙 The Potting Sheds remain open and are running a free local delivery service for their flowers and gifts.
🧡 Rufford Print are open, albeit behind locked doors, and are working really hard to support local community groups, churches, medical centres, agricultural businesses and distribution organisations with their print requirements. You can place an order over the phone or via their website www.ruffordprinting.co.uk.

We thought it would be useful to provide you all with an update during these strange and unsettling times.
❤️ Cedar Farm is currently open as normal (10am til 5pm, Tuesday to Sunday).
A couple of our shops may slightly change their hours due to personal circumstances but you can give them a call before making a special visit – there are contact details for individual businesses on our website.
💙 We have placed hand sanitiser stations at the four main entrance areas to shops and studios.
💚 Our business owners are all making sure their workspaces and shops are extra clean and tidy.
💜 We completely understand that a lot of our visitors are staying away from shops and cafes at the moment. It’s a tricky time for all small businesses right now.
If you want to support our Cedar Farm businesses maybe you could purchase a gift voucher that you can use later in the year?
Or check to see if they sell online?
A lot of our businesses are happy to take payment for items over the telephone and post them out. The Food Shop are offering a free local delivery service for their home-made meals. The Gallery are putting together craft packs that you might find useful if you have to spend more time at home than usual.
💛 As you can imagine a number of workshops and events at Cedar Farm have been cancelled or postponed. Please contact the workshop organiser to confirm if you’re affected.
🧡 Sadly we’ve taken the decision to cancel our market on Saturday 4th April. We’d love it if you could support our market stall holders and pop over to our ‘Cedar Farm Market’ pages. We’ll be sharing their news and products over there.
If you have any queries please just get in touch.
We’ll try to keep everyone updated at the situation in the UK changes over the coming weeks.
