The Food Shop at Cedar Farm is a small specialist delicatessen run by husband and wife team Phil and Esther Cropper. It started trading in 1999, with the intention of producing excellent quality 'home cooked' food using locally sourced ingredients with no additives or preservatives.

All the beef and lamb used is reared in Tarleton and the chicken is all free range and also sourced locally. Milk & cream come from Rolands dairy in Mawdesley and the range of local and speciality cheeses from Preston.
As well as a range of homecooked meals, now over 20 varieties, Phil and Esther also produce their own chicken liver pate, freshly made rice, cous cous, spicy beany & pasta salads, luxury dairy ice cream and fruit sorbets.

The 'Fill Your Dishes' service is perfect for dinner parties. Many regular customers now bring in their own dishes to be filled with tasty meals they can simply reheat.
For larger parties the catering service is ideal, offering speciality honey glazed roasted ham, smoked fish platter, salads and pates.
Together with their own products, The Food shop stock many niche food items both local and international and always try to concentrate on interesting and high quality foods.
"Our secret is providing 'ready meals' with a difference enabling our customers to enjoy scrumptious homemade cooking without the effort"

This was first time I had ever bought food from Cedar Farm and it certainly will not be the last!
The Chilli Con Carne was wonderful, just delicious. Next on my list was the Chocolate sponge pudding, which for any self respecting chocaholic, was simply yummy. I will return again soon......

We go to Cedar Farm several times a year and we always come back with lots of products from the food shop which we all things is excellent. Although some may say a little pricey. We feel you have to pay for quality such as this. Everything we have ever had has been good quality. Just that little bit special. Somethings you can't buy in the supermarket or corner shop. Especially good for vegetarian and gluten-free products. Long may you continue. The whole set up is excellent.

Many changes resulted from the feedback of millions of users who tested prerelease versions of the new browser. The most compelling reason to upgrade is the improved security. The Internet of today is not the Internet of five years ago. There are dangers that simply didn't exist back in 2001, when Internet Explorer 6 was released to the world. Internet Explorer 7 makes surfing the web fundamentally safer by offering greater protection against viruses, spyware, and other online risks.
