David Secrett is a professionally trained landscape artist and a specialist in his field.  His understanding of his subject results in works of dynamic originality. After his foundation studies and training in art and design he spent twenty six years teaching before opening  Studio 5 at Cedar Farm Galleries, Back Lane, Mawdesley, Lancashire.

David was brought up in the West Country where he developed his passion for the countryside.  His parents’ business in agriculture provided ample opportunity for this. Their farmland in Cornwall was not far from the stretches of the Lizard Peninsula and the evocative tracts of woodland going down to the shores of the Helford Estuary.  Much of his inspiration is now in ‘the north’.  He has many favourite places including the inspiring scapes and woodland of Silverdale.

Visit his studio, be inspired and enjoy a conversation with a truly invigorated English landscape painter.  His ongoing exhibitions of Paintings, Preludes and Poems represent some of his most recent work and articulate the profound, sweet rapture he experiences in the created natural world.

Hello David, I have recently received a first edition print of one of your wonderful paintings and am enjoying it every time I walk into the lounge where it is hung. Your work is magical and it leads ordinary people into an imaginary place that they would not normally discover--thank you.

What an excellent studio. The art is enchanting , and the artist is genuine and eloquent. David Secrett is a refreshing man in this world of cynics. This gentleman aims to please ,and his aim is very good indeed
Go and buy something from him he is worth it .

I think that this is some of the best art I have ever seen. So enchanting and magical, you seem to get drawn in to the pictures and want to know more. I was stunned. Everything so beautiful, now I know what I want for Christmas.

Why should I upgrade to Internet Explorer 7? Microsoft has redesigned Internet Explorer from the ground up, with better security, new capabilities, and a whole new interface. Many changes resulted from the feedback of millions of users who tested prerelease versions of the new browser. The most compelling reason to upgrade is the improved security. The Internet of today is not the Internet of five years ago. There are dangers that simply didn't exist back in 2001, when Internet Explorer 6 was released to the world. Internet Explorer 7 makes surfing the web fundamentally safer by offering greater protection against viruses, spyware, and other online risks.
