Welcome to Cedar Farm

Welcome to Cedar Farm. Situated just 15 minutes from junction 27 of the M6 and yet nestling in beautiful countryside, Cedar Farm is an inspirational and creative shopping experience.

The wonderful array of unique shops, selling contemporary crafts, clothing, home furnishings and mystic gifts is complemented by a group of creative working artists; here visitors have an opportunity to purchase artwork made by some of the most talented people in the region.

The cafe@cedarfarm, serving delicious freshly prepared food and the Coffee Roastery are both award winning places to eat and drink.

With regular exhibitions, free parking, a children's playground and farm animals to feed, it's a perfect place to spend an hour or two. Although, if you want to spend longer, why not book onto one of our courses or have a pamper day at the beauty salon. Check out our 'What's On?' page to see the full extent of activities on offer at Cedar Farm.

At the end of your visit, if you can't face going home to cook, drop into The Food Shop for a scrumptious home cooked meal to take away with you.

About Cedar Farm

Cedar Farm was set up almost 20 years ago in redundant farm buildings to promote and sell British Crafts in a rural location. It was an immediate success and over the past years Cedar Farm has developed organically and grown into a well loved and respected part of the countryside. Other retail outlets have appeared on the site and one large pig barn was converted into retails studio spaces called art@cedarfarm.

art@cedarfarm consists of art and design based businesses producing high quality innovative work. There are nine studio spaces accessed via a broad glazed arcade. There is also the Pig Barn which was converted into an activity centre in 2001. The Pig Barn includes a beauty treatment studio, a art workshop, a pottery workshop, and a general courses room.

Recently, another large barn has been converted into a row of units called The Design Shed. Here you will find interior designers, a print, graphic and web design studio, and a jewellery designer.

Regular exhibitions are held, promoting British art and craft work from around the country.

Farmers' Markets, a Summer Festival, Christmas Shopping Evenings and special events with entertainment are all held annually. See What's On? for more information.

Why should I upgrade to Internet Explorer 7? Microsoft has redesigned Internet Explorer from the ground up, with better security, new capabilities, and a whole new interface. Many changes resulted from the feedback of millions of users who tested prerelease versions of the new browser. The most compelling reason to upgrade is the improved security. The Internet of today is not the Internet of five years ago. There are dangers that simply didn't exist back in 2001, when Internet Explorer 6 was released to the world. Internet Explorer 7 makes surfing the web fundamentally safer by offering greater protection against viruses, spyware, and other online risks.
